Thelma Hill Performing Arts Center (THPAC) is committed to strengthening the capacity of our communications and development resources. We have established that our goals must be internally sustainable. In order to sustain an expansion, THPAC has determined that it will be necessary to build our technical skills and strategies in fundraising, marketing and outreach. We have outlined major marketing plans for the 2004-2006 seasons. The heart of this plan will be increased staff capacity in publicity and outreach in addition to revenue and membership cultivation.
THPAC intends to:
- provide seasonal subscriptions to "Souls of Our Feet -People Of Color Dance Festival".
- provide a group sales option to local civil groups and other community-based institutions.
- fortify our publicity and advertising department and increasing our mailing
list to 15,000.
- develop a website to keep artists and the communities we serve informed of up-coming events.
- present neighborhood dance workshops and seminars
- develop well organized and effective, fundraising events to be presented
annually.
- create a media network structure for THPAC.
- continue to present the annual fundraiser of our Life Time Achievement Awards in the field of dance.
